Allowing old students of BCA(pre-revised sylb.) to complete their degree by Dec.2013 TEE - reg.
lt is notified for information of old students of BCA(pre-revised sylb) registered up to Juty 2005 session
(Enrol.# starting with '98----' and upto '05----- ') that they would be allowed to write June 2013 & Dec.2013 TEEs in order to complete all the requirements for the award of BCA degree, subject to the following terms and conditions:
(i) Old students of stand alone BCA(pre-revised sylb.) registered upto July 2005 session (Enrol.# starting
with '98----' and up to '05----- ') would be allowed to write June 2013 & Dec.2013 TEEs; provided they
had sought re-admission in the past. They will also be allowed to submit assignments, if any, required
for cornpletion of the programme.
(ii) Old students of Integrated BCA-MCA(old sylb) registered up to July 2003 session (Enrol.# starting
with '98----' and up to '03----- ') would be allowed to write June 2013 & Dec.20l3 TEEs; provided they
had sought re-admission in the past. They will also be allowed to submit assignments, if any, required
for completion of BCA programme. This opporlunity includes for the Project work (CS-76) as well.
(iii) No pro-rata fee would be charged from the students once again to avail the special offer being
extended now.
(i") This offer is not applicable to those students of BCA(pre-revised sylb.) who did not apply for readmission after completion of maximum duration.
(v) Tlris offer is also not applicable to tsCA(otd sytb) students (1996, 1997 &1998 Jan. sessions) as the old
syllabus has been wound-up.
(vi) Cases of BCA(pre-revised sylb.) students who had sought fresh admission in BCA(revised sylb.) from
July 20trtr onwards and applied for credit transfer can also exercise their option either to avail extra
chances being provided or to continue with the programme under BCA(revised sylb.). They will
have to submit their option in writing to Registrar, SRI), latest by 15th March. 2013. Howevero fee
already paid for fresh admission and credit transfer will not be refirnded under anv circumstances.
(vii) Cases of BCA(pre-revised syltr) students who had sought fresh admission in BCA(pre-revised sytb.)
up to JAN 201X session and availed credit transfer facility will not be reopened under any circumstances.
(viii) In the case of those students of BCA(pre-revised) who had appeared in June 2012 &Dec.20l2 TEEs, afterexpiry of the extended duration of two years in Dec.2011TEE, can availtwo more chances to complete the left-over courses. Their cases for declaration of withheld result of June 2012 TEE and/or Dec.2012 TEE
may also be looked into by Director, School of Computer & Inforrnation Sciences, on case to case basis
when they approach the School in this regard.
(ix) No term-end e>iamination of BCA(old sylb.) and MCA(old sylb.) would be conducted in the wake of the special offer being extended to students o{'BCA(pre-revised sylb.).
(x) Students are required to submit the Exam. Form with requisite fee at the respective Regional Centre, as per schedule.
(xi) As usuatr, these students will have to get an endorsement on the Examination Form
Study Centre/ Regional Centre, wherever necessary.
(xii) Any other terrns and conditions wouid be notified separately and in due course.
